Meet Michael
A veteran REALTOR®, Michael Alderfer has over 200 real estate transactions under his belt. Specializing in all areas of the DMV, Michael’s focus as an agent is education and transparency. He helps his clients make big life decisions by ensuring they have all of the information they need to succeed. When buying his first home with his now wife, Michael got to experience the difficulties of having an agent who didn’t listen and pushed them to spend more than they wished. After finding a better agent who successfully guided them through the process, Michael realized this was a career where he could use his best skills while being engaged and challenged. A mark of Michael’s success is the number of repeat clients he has, especially those who become friends.
Michael came to D.C. in 2001 from the southern tier of New York. He studied political science and public communication at American University and has a wife and two girls whom he loves to brag about. During his spare time, you’ll find him hiking Rock Creek Park with his girls, gardening and golfing. He’s a sports fan and collects watches.
